When to consider pediatric speech therapy

When your child...

  • has difficulty understanding and/or following directions

  • is difficult to understand when speaking

  • has decreased babbling, vocalizing, or pointing to the desired object/person

  • has open mouth posture and/or mouth breathes

  • has tongue tie or tongue thrust
