Occupational Therapy
We support your child’s unique needs to foster development in play, emotional and sensory growth and ability to participate in daily living skills at their maximum potential. Gross motor, fine motor, visual motor, feeding, dressing, grooming and hygiene skills are also supported through evidence based treatment modalities. Your occupational therapist will complete a comprehensive evaluation to develop an individualized plan of care to meet your child’s needs and address your family goals.

When to consider pediatric Occupational Therapy

When your child...

  • has difficulty with attention and/or constantly in motion or fidgety

  • has delayed developmental milestones

  • is oversensitive to sounds, smells, touch, movement, etc.

  • has difficulty with self-regulation, such as unexpected tantrums, big reactions to small problems, and/or difficulty calming down

  • appears clumsy or uncoordinated

  • has difficulty with daily living skills such as grooming/hygiene, dressing, sleeping, and/or is a picky eater

  • has difficulty understanding and/or following directions

  • has difficulty with academics such as math, reading, and/or writing

  • has difficulty with social skills such as making and keeping friends, being part of a group, or playing with others
